There is much talent, skill, expertise, and knowledge among our members!!! We realize that committing to “more” stuff outside of your already busy lives can be overwhelming, but if we have a little commitment from everyone then the time per person becomes minimal.

Responsibilities

Board of Directors:

President — Ensure duties, responsiblities, and requirements of the bylaws and those of the board of directors are met; Preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors and of the members; Appoint and be ex-officio of committee chairs and chair members (with approval of the Board of Directors); Perform other duties.

Vice-President — Assume all the duties of the President during his/her absence or disability and perform such other duties as may be assigned by the President and/or the Board of Directors.

Treasurer — Custodian of all funds of the chapter; Keep accurate account of receipts and expenditures; Make disbursement authorized by chapter; Present financial report to the Board of Directors and members; Submit reports as required by ARMA International.

Secretary — Keep a record of all the Board of Directors membership meetings, and make them available to the Board and membership; Preserve all books and papers belonging to the chapter; Conduct official correspondence of the chapter; Perform nomination and voting duties in the absence of a nomination committee; Perform other duties as assigned.

Committees:

ICRM/IGP Representative Committee — Serve as the contact person(s) for members seeking guidance, input, or mentorship to become a Certified Records Manager (CRM) or Informaton Goverenance Professional (IGP)

Sponsorship and Professional Development Committee — Seek out possible sponsorship, presenter, and or training opportunities with the goal of providing valuable and affordable chapter meetings and/or training to the members.

Social and Hospitality Committee — Oversee social network(s), take pictures, welcome guests and new members, and present attendees with identification badges.

Web Coordination Commitee — Maintain and update webpage as needed

Marketing Committee — Generate and distributes marketing flyers and campaigns with the gaol of optimizing member participation as well as soliciting potential members.
